Mommy's Day!!

Dear Moms....lol Dear Family,

This week has been a good week we've stayed busy doing alot of service this week as its gotten nicer there is a lot of spring cleaning going on. We've had fun biking though lol I've come to love biking and pretty good at it too but I truly miss driving :/.  Anyways I got to skype home this week and it was the highlight of my week.  It wasn't as hard of a time as I thought it would be.  It just reminded me of who I am where I came from and that my family loves me.

I would like to take a brief moment to say thank you to all those moms out there and all that you do.

and mom I'd like to thank you for the example you've been to me and for every moment you tended to this needy brat and I would also like to thank all the moms that have ever been an example , influence, leaders, or just been there for me I appreciate all of you! I thank you grandmas for raising such wonderful mothers and parents and spoiling us! :) I love you all and you deserve more than a day for all you strive to do for the children even outside of your own kin. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I hope you all have a wonderful week I love you all, and may God be with you till we meet again!

First Transfer Down

Hello family,

So this week has been really good on Tuesday it poured on the way to service and we got soaked and someone sped up to splash me with a puddle and the water nailed me.  Then I hit a puddle with my tire and my bike slipped out from under me. It was funny LOL.  Also this week we taught two new investigators that was exciting. My first real investigator lessons. So every six weeks is transfers but I stay here because training is 12 weeks and then I will probably be here another 6 weeks and get what we call greenie broken by someone else as I teach them the area and then I'll most likely transfer after that.  We had zone conference this last week and that was like 8 hrs at the church doing missionary training type stuff. There was a huge lightning storm that was really cool. Mother's day is coming soon I'm so excited to Skype! I don't have a lot to say about my week a lot of its in my videos I post. I hope you all have a wonderfull week and I love you all

End of the Rainbow

Dear friends and family well just family cause your all my family...

So Dear Family! :) 

This week I have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!  I truly believe in miracles. I've been praying to have someone to teach and we got 4 new people this week!  So I'll start with the less active I'm working with she has such a strong testimony and she has such a sweet spirit but she struggles with smoking and I was teaching the lesson and I was praying to know what to share, and I kept getting this prompting to share the word of wisdom pamphlet with her so I read through and got to the addictive substances section and I knew that was it! So I built my lesson on that and shared scriptures with her on how to face temptations, this was a very bold lesson and when we started, it seemed alright but then she got kinda hostile and I got a lil scared lol but I saw her heart just softened in the time of that lesson and she wanted a change she wanted to reach the temple so we set dates goals and plans and it was so amazing.

The next miracle is just funny so I was picking up my bike from the shop and I was loading it on the back and there is a Bj's ice cream like drive through thing in the same lot and a lady pulls up behind me and says, "here's 20 bucks that is the best ice cream have a wonderful day". So the four of us enjoyed a nice treat. lol I got a birthday cake shake! anyway so this week we were about to leave our apartment and we get a call saying she talked to her friends and the 2 of them wanted to take the lessons. Then she texted again last night and said she was talking to another friend who also wants to take the lessons!  We also got 3 referrals to go see people so we are hoping good things from those.  This Saturday we got permission to go to the ward hike and people are supposed to invite their friends to this so we are hoping good things this week.

This week what I have to share with you is a simple message to have the courage and faith to share your truths and beliefs this is such a beautiful message and gospel. I've seen the miracles and great happiness and joy come into many peoples lives and its not something to keep inside everyone deserves the pure love of Christ in their life and a chance to taste of the fruit of the tree of life and to have the happiness and knowledge and comfort we can have from eternal families. I love you all and missionary work starts with you!  We can all be tools in the hands of lord! I hope you all have a wonderful week and may God be with you till we meet again!

Last weeks email and pics!! "Welcome to Colorado!!"

Welcome to Colorado,

Well this week has been fun and eventful. So Colorado's weather is crazy it goes from snowing like crazy to 70 degrees then raining then just windy.  I even got a sunburn. 

I saw lightning the other night that was cool, and more fireworks. Anyway so I love the people here lol they are very missionary minded and help a lot. One of our families throw a lot of parties and bring their friends and invite us so we can get to know them and somebody we are going to start teaching we call him Phil is really fun and he loves us first time I met him he hugged me.  Things here in Colorado are going swell we are also doing lots of service and Saturday was very eventful I posted a vlog about it but we were cleaning a creek of homeless camps for earth day and my comp flung some dirty homeless creek panties at my face and knocked my glasses off in the nasty black water. I found them but gross lol then that same day we had clean checks and got a perfect score then on the way to dinner I crashed my bike lol good thing everything was okay.

So this week I was studying in my preach my Gospel for my training and I am studying the plan of salvation. I came across this scripture Moses 1:39 it reads "for behold this is my work and my glory - to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." this is such a small but simple scripture and I will expound sometimes in life we get so caught up on the little things or the worldly things or we even become angry with god or we don't understand why things happen in 1 Nephi 11:17 it reads: "and I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things." these 2 scriptures say so much God has a plan set for each and everyone of us and he sees and thinks of everything on an eternal prospective and what is in our best interest for eternal life.  We have trials that happen in everyday life to strengthen and to grown and learn and to prepare us for that eternal life, and when life gets hard or we face trials we don't know why but we know God loves us. What a beautiful thing if we can all work to put a side the worldly thing and broaden our prospective a little we might grow stronger and find true eternal happiness. "Count your many blessings" is one of my favorite hymns and if we can take a moment to see gods hand in our life and say a prayer for nothing but gratitude it brings the spirit into your life and many blessing and happiness.
