He Lives, Happy Easter

Howdy,

This is the start of my 4th week in the field and I'm loving it all. This week went by so fast but I've come to love this biking area and I love the people we have an amazing ward.

I really enjoyed Easter. Not a lot happened it seemed this week we did a lot of service this week though and that was fun. We helped at the food bank move stuff around, and helped with the computers.  We got lots of contacts from people because of the Easter season we had a ward breakfast and egg hunt and then we had a party at a members house on Saturday.  Then on Sunday we went over there again for another party and the reason we are able to go is because of investigators or just their non member neighbors and it was a lot of fun it felt like home to sit around the fire and talk lol.

I'm still learning and growing lots I've been reading my scriptures, my preach my gospel book, and a few other books like true to the faith a lot.  I get so much enlightenment from them and we can learn so much about ourselves and even how we can improve and it truly brings me happiness.

Something I love is we can compare ourselves a lot to Nephi or Lamen and Lemual for example in 1 Nephi 17:2-3 is the account of Nephi and in 17:20-21 is the account of the same thing just from Lamen and Lemual the lesson we can learn from this is if we can see God in our lives in everything we do and count our blessings and our tender mercies we will find true happiness and growth even in times of trials. But if we like unto Lamen and Lemual their happiness is always somewhere else they always say they'd be happier or will be happier if such and such will happen and their happiness is also focused of worldly things like their money and items I have truly come to see the difference between eternal happiness and temporary pleasure and I have also come to realize the only way to achieve eternal happiness is through God and his son Jesus Christ and his teachings and making them the center of our lives and like I've said before when we turn outward and focus on others or even Christ when we look back we see how far we have come and have been blessed in our lives. I challenge all of you just like the prophet asked us to read and reread the book of Mormon and I testify to you as you do that not only will you come to know the divinity of it and its truth you will come closer to Christ you will be strengthened and you will find eternal happiness and greatness. I love you all so very much and miss you I hope you all have wonderful and amazing weeks and God be with you till we meet again.
