Hello Family & Friends,

So this week was kind of long doing lots of prep work to leave the area!
So this week I found out I'm finally leaving Sand Creek. I've been there my whole mission I love it and all the people.  It has become my home but I'm excited for the new adventures, people, and things to come.  I'm getting transferred down to canon city and I'll still be on my bike lol. It should be fun biking in the winter.  Hopefully it will keep the pounds off. I am moving into another apartment. My new companion will be Elder Blatter he is from California. The rest of my week has been saying my good byes and getting already to go!

Something we've been teaching I came across because of conference is becoming a disciple of Christ and in John  13:34,35 and it reads: 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. 

       When we have love for all those around us we become like Christ and we can become better disciples. So the challenge I've been giving everyone is to work on a Christ like attribute.  Monthly we do this as missionaries every 6 weeks.  By becoming more like the savior everyday our countenance becomes brighter people see that, and they want what you have.  By doing so it's not the blessings we can receive from becoming like Christ and coming unto him' but its the blessing we can become to those around us.  They will see that difference in the light and want to know where to find it, also providing us with better missionary opportunities everyday!

Well I love and miss you all hope to send you some new scenery with my pictures and videos with a new area new people and new work!

Overdue Update Miracles, Transfers, & Conferences

Miracles

Dear friends and family,

This week has been pretty good! So two Sisters that we working with are going to addiction recovery and are trying to quit! It so awesome to see some progress and desire after working with people for 6 months with no results. Also we finally got an appointment with a less active for this week so hope that goes well.  We met with another investigator this week and him his mom who is a member and his little brother all came to church this week!!!! It was the primary program lol it was an awesome experience and they all loved it and he wants to be baptized he just has to come 2 more times! This week we also have a meeting with another family to teach the little kids who all just got baptized and the mom who I think after having the baby may come along. When we were at church I get a call from a weird number and this girl said she saw some missionaries and got our number and she said she lives in our ward and investigated the church like 12 or 13 years ago and would like us to come over! So thats exciting!  So that's been my week I look foward to hearing from you all and I love you all hope you have a wonderful week! May God be with you till we meet again.

Transfers 

Hello friends and Family,

Sorry I haven't been emailing things have been kind of crazy with me, if you'd love to talk  I'll continue to try to email every week. This transfer was crazy 4 companions, 2 different trios, and covering 2 areas, and 2 wards, but now all the craziness is over! I'm still in my first area and I get another companion tomorrow his name is Elder Vernon he's from Arizona. I will probably show him the area for the 5 week transfer then leave sand creek. I've now been out for 6 months crazy to think not so long ago I was home with all your beautiful smiling faces doing all sorts of fun stuff lol anyway.  So this week we met with our investigator  and we are going to take him on a church tour next week hopefully he'll want to come to church after.  We also met with a Sister who is so amazing and hopefully she can find the strength in Jesus Christ and his atonement to over come her struggle. We met with a part member family the 3 little kids we baptized and its always super spiritual I love going over there every time we teach there is tears. The mom is taking the lessons and we invited her to be baptized as well and she said she probably will just not right now because She's having a baby soon and she wants to learn and that's understandable its a big step and I'd want a spiritual confirmation before I would. Any how that's been part of my week I also got a hair cut today lol. Week of Conferences

Dear family and friends,

This week we had zone conference and general conference. lol maybe I should've titled it the week of sitting. So this week I came up with a question I had before conferences and it was: "How can I become a better disciple of Christ?" I got so much from all the sessions with this question and I'm hoping to be able to apply these things and become a better missionary everyday. our week went well we met with a less active member who wants to come back to church and his wife might start taking the lessons and our investigator asked for the link to watch general conference so that's exciting!  It's been cold and rainy here and I love it I suspect snow soon! Transfers are coming up in a few weeks and I keep having a dream where I get the call that says pack your bags!  Anyway that's been part of my week I love you guys hope you had a wonderful week and continue to do so this week.
